My passion for Aesthetics began during my internship at the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Genoa from 1992 to 1994. During this formative period, I delved into the complexities of Plastic Surgery and developed a pioneering thesis on the application of virtual reality in plastic surgery training. This initiative demonstrated my commitment to innovation and my dedication to advancing the field.
As my career progressed, I specialized in head and neck surgery, with a particular interest in Otology under the mentorship of Professor Angelo Salami, the Clinical Director of the ENT Department. I pursued an Otology Fellowship in Auckland, New Zealand, followed by a PhD at McGill University, where I researched central vestibular adaptation to peripheral vestibular damage.
