Biografía
Dr. Florencia de los Santos is a Medical Doctor (Universidad de la República, Uruguay) specialized in Aesthetic Medicine, with more than 10 years of experience in facial rejuvenation, facial harmonization, dermatologic surgery, and advanced laser and energy-based technologies.
She holds a Master’s in Laser and Light-Based Systems in Dermato-Aesthetic Pathology from the University of Barcelona and a Master’s in Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine from Pinto Institute Europe (Belgium), and has completed continuing medical education at Harvard Medical School. She has trained with internationally recognized experts including Dr. Rox Anderson, Dr. Arthur Swift, Prof. Sebastian Cotofana, Dr. Julius Few, and Dr. Rod Rohrich.
She is the Founder and Medical Director of MEDICLINIQ (Montevideo, Uruguay), a clinic that integrates aesthetic medicine, laser technology, functional medicine, and longevity under one medical criterion. She also leads MEDICLINIQ Academy, a continuing education program for physicians in lasers and energy-based devices, with an emphasis on patient safety, evidence-based protocols, and supervised hands-on practice.
An international speaker at IMCAS and AMWC, she presented BioStructure™, her multiplanar approach to facial harmonization, at IMCAS Americas 2026, and was a finalist at the AMWC Aesthetic Medicine Awards 2026. She co-authored a comparative study on IPL and 1064 nm Q-Switched laser for melasma (SELMQ, 2025).
She serves as Vice President of the Uruguayan Association of Aesthetic Physicians (AMEU), is a member of the Artificial Intelligence Commission of the Uruguayan Medical Association, and develops projects in AI applied to healthcare.
