Dr James MCDIARMID

James McDiarmid, MD, MSc, FRCS (Plast) is a plastic surgeon with extensive experience in cosmetic surgery and is also a specialist in reconstructive microsurgery of the breast and hand. He has worked in independent practice since 2000 and is a full member of both the British and international societies of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.He is senior lecturer in Aesthetic Surgery Practice at Anglia Ruskin University in the UK. He trained in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery in the UK and USA between 1994 and 2000. From 2000-2008 Mr McDiarmid was a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, during this time as well as running a busy reconstructive microsurgery practice he also became very busy with aesthetic surgery (discovering what worked and more importantly what didn't for his patients).Since 2008 Mr McDiarmid has chosen to limit the scope of his practice to aesthetic surgery - in addition this he also runs 2 non-surgical aesthetic practices (McDiarmid-Hall clinics) in Plymouth and Cheltenham. He is passionate about teaching, training and sharing knowledge.
