Dr. Batniji is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the American Board of Otolaryngology. He limits his practice exclusively to facial plastic surgery, nonsurgical facial rejuvenation and facial reconstructive surgery. His practice is located in both Newport Beach and Beverly Hills, California. The most common surgical procedures Dr. Batniji performs include rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, facelift, necklift, and blepharoplasty.
Dr. Batniji remains active with his professional society, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), serving as CME Chairman. He was selected by the President of the AAFPRS to revamp the curriculum and requirements of the AAFPRS fellowship programs. Additionally, he serves as Director for several specialty meetings, including the AAFPRS Facial Rejuvenation: Master the Techniques meeting held in Beverly Hills in March 2016 where he also performed live surgery in front of an audience of nearly 300 plastic surgeons. He has lectured on several topics in facial plastic surgery, both nationally (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, Boston, New York) and internationally (England, France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Portugal, Israel, and Switzerland). He serves on advisory boards and as consultant to various medical device and pharmaceutical companies.
