Biography
Yoshiyuki Aikawa MD is a CEO, SBC Medical Group Holdings, Inc., Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from Nihon University School of Medicine. After training in anesthesiology, he worked at a major cosmetic surgery clinic in Tokyo. He opened Shonan Cosmetic Surgery Clinic in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa, Japan in 2000. As of 2023, he has expanded beyond aesthetic medicine to include general medicine and holds many positions including CEO of SBC Medical Group Holdings, board member of the Japan Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and advisor to the Society of Advanced Medical Physicians.
1997: Graduated from Nihon University School of Medicine and worked in the Department of Anesthesiology at the Cancer Research Institute Hospital
2000: Opened the first clinic in Fujisawa City
2008: Became a Harvard Medical School PGA member
2015: President of the Japanese Society of Cosmetic Surgery
2020: Established the SBC Medical Foundation Public Interest Incorporated Foundation
2021: Launched a project of Free University Admission support in medical course
2023: Reached a total of 200 clinics* of Shonan Beauty Clinic Group
