Karen ZUPKO

Motivating, inspiring, entertaining, and practical are words used by participants on evaluations after one of Karen Zupko's presentations. Ms. Zupko,with more than 30 years of experience in aesthetic plastic surgery and dermatology, is a regular speaker at The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Ms. Zupko spoke most recently at Beauty Through Science in Stockholm. The Multispecialty Cosmetic Meeting in Las Vegas, as well asThe American Society for Plastic Surgery and The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery are among her speaking credits. On behalf of the International Society of Dermatologic Surgery, she lectured about aesthetic practice management at meetings in Greece, Hungary, and Canada. She has authored more than 85 articles and white papers on topics pertaining to aesthetic surgery practice management, marketing and staffing, published in industry publications. Ms. Zupko founded her consultancy, KarenZupko&Associates, Inc. 30 years ago. She and her team have an international practice working with aesthetically oriented physicians. Previously, she headed the AMA's Department of Practice Management.  KZA, Inc. was recognized as one of the TOP TEN Practice Management firms by HiTech Healthcare magazine in 2018.  Ms. Zupko has served on hospital, medical foundation and charitable boards. She is active in civic affairs. She has a journalism degree from the University of Kansas. I
