Biografía
I was born in Diyarbakir-Turkey in 1963. I worked as a General Practitioner for several years including obligatory Military Service after graduation from University of Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1987. I got my basic degrees of Diploma & Masters in Dermatological Sciences in the Department of Dermatology of the University of Wales College of Medicine in Cardiff during 1993-1995. I carried on Dermatology and Dermatopathology training in the same department between 1995-2000. In February 1997, I obtained my Consultant Degree after passing a board examination in Turkey.
I am currently working as a full time Professor in the Department of Dermatology of the University of Gaziantep, Faculty of Medicine. I have a special interest on Autoimmune Dermatoses including disease topics of psoriasis, lichen planus and Behcet’s syndrome, and also Urticaria & Cosmetology. I have more than 160 publications and several chapters in international and also national journals and textbooks.
