Prof Min YAO

Yao Min, Doctor of Medicine, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. Leader of the Plastic Surgery Laser Team of the Ninth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, and studied under Dr. Rox Anderson, the international "Father of Skin Laser" at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and was a lecturer at Harvard University. He is good at photoelectric treatment of scars, pigmented diseases and rejuvenation. He is a standing member of the Burn Surgery Committee of the Shanghai Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a standing member of the Shanghai Branch of the Plastic Surgery of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. He has presided over a number of research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation, the State Education Commission, the US Department of Defense, the Major Military Research, and the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. He has won the "Pujiang Talent", the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery Research Award, the Huaxia Medical Award, and the Shanghai Medical Achievement Award. He has been invited to give speeches at international conferences such as The Annual Conference of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and the "Pioneer Forum" of the National Science and Technology Commission of Japan. He has published 116 papers, including 50 SCI papers.
