Prof Nicola ZERBINATI

Professor Nicola Zerbinati, born on August 19, 1967, after having obtained the classical high school diploma at the Liceo Ugo Foscolo in Pavia, enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Pavia where he graduated in September 1992 discussing the experimental thesis entitled: "Immunological, tissue and blood changes in patients affected by Lichen Planus, treated with Ciclosporin A", supervisor prof. Rabbiosi, thus obtaining in 1993 the qualification and registration with the Order of Doctors of Pavia. In February 1997 he obtained the specialization diploma in Dermatology and Venereology at the University of Pavia, supervisor prof. Rabbiosis, discussing the thesis: “Clinical and instrumental evaluations of skin implants and flaps of keratinocyte cultures”. During his specialization he worked on skin immunopathology, orienting his interest towards the method of cell cultivation and hybridization. He was personally involved in the IT reorganization of the clinic in anticipation of the advent of the new coding and classification systems (DRG).
From 1999 to today he has been a university researcher at the Department of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Insubria.
Since 2021 he has been director of a complex structure of dermatology at the University of Insubria.
