B-Lite™ lightweight breast implants were developed by G&G Biotechnology Ltd. The company is dedicated to improving the quality of life of women who undergo breast augmentation or reconstruction surgery by reducing the weight of breast implants.
Founder Dr. Jacky Govrin-Yehudain, a leading plastic surgeon with extensive international experience in breast augmentation surgery, wanted to reduce the side effects experienced over time by women with augmented breasts. Having realized that the weight of breast implants was a major cause of many of the side effects, he asked his brother Dael Govreen Segal, a prominent biomedical engineer to develop a lightweight breast implant that would exceed the expectations of both patients and surgeons .
Mr Govreen-Segal assembled a multidisciplinary team of doctors, biomedical engineers, chemists and biologists to develop the world’s first lightweight breast implant and eight years later B-Lite was born.
