Alexandra Mora Hernández, MD, is a Colombian Facial Plastic Surgeon and Otolaryngologist based in Bogotá, with a career focused on facial and neck surgery, rhinoplasty, structural facial rejuvenation, periorbital surgery and minimally invasive facial treatments.
She earned her Medical Degree and specialization in Otolaryngology at Universidad del Rosario and later received the formal Specialist degree in Facial Plastic Surgery from Universidad CES, following advanced clinical training in facial plastic surgery.
Dr. Mora served as President of the Colombian Society of Facial Plastic Surgery and Rhinology (SCCPFR) and is currently Vice President of Facialis Academy. Her international academic activity spans the Americas, Europe and Asia, with roles as faculty, speaker, chair and moderator at IMCAS, AMWC, IFFPSS, AAFPRS, EAFPS, SEASON and LA-MCA. She has served on the AMWC International Scientific Committee & Advisory Board — Latin America, and has participated in the IMCAS Americas Scientific Committee.
Her academic work includes contributions published by Aesthetic Surgery Journal/Oxford University Press, Springer, Thieme and Acta ACORL. At IMCAS, she has lectured on rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, lip lift, facial rejuvenation and nonsurgical neck rejuvenation, and has chaired or moderated scientific sessions on rhinoplasty, facelift, periocular surgery and facial treatments.
She is the creator of Aesthetic Integrity™, a structural clinical framework centered on anatomical diagnosis, proportionality, identity preservation, therapeutic restraint and long-term planning. Within this framework, she developed the Facial Integrity Scale™ (FIS™), a proposed structural decision framework currently undergoing academic development toward external evaluation and validation.
