Dr Angeline Anning Yong

Dr. Angeline Yong is a leading dermatologist and dermatological surgeon in Singapore. She is committed to raising awareness of skin health and providing comprehensive, all-round medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatological services to patients.
After completing her dermatology residency at the National Skin Centre, Singapore, Dr Yong undertook multiple fellowships overseas and was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan award to pursue a year-long fellowship at the world-renowned St John’s Institute of Dermatology (London) where she was trained in Mohs Microscopic Surgery and cutaneous reconstruction alongside other dermatologic surgery and laser procedures. This was followed by a second fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital (New York), where Dr Yong underwent further sub-specialty training in Hair Transplantation, Cosmetic and Procedural Dermatology.
Due to her expertise in both the medical treatment of hair loss and surgical restoration Dr Yong was tasked to set up and lead the hair transplantation service at NSC. Her expertise in all aspects of dermatological surgery, from laser surgery, hair transplant surgery, and Mohs Micrographic Surgery as well as other cold steel, scalpel techniques have established her as a leading dermatological surgeon in the country, and she is the only dermatologist dual-accredited to perform both Mohs Micrographic Surgery and hair transplantation in Singapore.
Dr Yong is also the first Singaporean dermatologist to become a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery and holds a Master's in Public Health from Harvard University. Her areas of research include anti-ageing medicine, skin cancer management, hair disorders, energy-based devices, and dermatological surgery.
Being rigorously involved in academia, Dr Yong is a key opinoin leader for various aesthetic devices and has been invited speaker at numerous local and overseas dermatology and aesthetic conferences.
