Dr Claude OPPIKOFER

Claude Oppikofer, MD, is a Swiss FMH Board certified Plastic Surgeon, born 1954 in Berne, Switzerland. He has been in private practice in Montreux, Switzerland, since 1991. He is owner and director of Chirurgie Plastique Riviera, the Swiss Center for Excellence in Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine. As a former flight surgeon of the Swiss Air Force, Claude Oppikofer, has always kept a particular interest for questions of patient safety and is lecturing on this subject. He is the former chair on the Patient Safety Committee on the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery ASAPS and presently committee member of the Patient Safety Committees of ASPS and ISAPS. Furthermore, he has done pioneer work in Quality Management in Plastic surgery. His office has been the first to be certified according to ISO 9000 in 2003 already.
