Biographie

Dan mon O’Dey, M.D., Ph.D., was born in Germany Speciality: Plastic Surgery Country: Germany Since 2014 Dan mon O’Dey is Director of the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Hand Surgery, as well as Director and Founder of the Center of Reconstructive Surgery of female Gender Characteristics, Luisenhospital Aachen, Teaching Hospital of the Medical Faculty of the Aachen University of Technology (RWTH), Germany. He did his training at the Department of Plastic Surgery, Hand Surgery, Burn Center, University Hospital of the RWTH Aachen. He is a fellow of the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (EBOPRAS), member of the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons (DGPRAEC), member of the German Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (DGGG), and member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS). He is an international speaker, author of many medical and research publications and reviewer for international scientific journals. Besides of aesthetic surgery, he specializes in reconstructive surgery of female gender characteristics and developed new methods to form the female breast and to anatomically reconstruct the outer female genital as an aesthetic unit in acquired defects derived from tumors, dermatosis, anomalies and genital cutting. Dan mon O’Dey is a pioneer in the field of female genital surgery. His research focusses on anatomic vascular territories of the skin and underlying tissues.
