Dr Hector LEAL SILVA

Dr Hector Leal Silva, Dermatologist and Dermatologic Surgeon, is Board certified and recertified
by the Mexican Board of Dermatology. Dr Leal has a PhD in Bioethics, and is an EdD in
Organization Development and Change Candidate by Pepperdine University. He directs iDerma,
Institute of Dermatology, Lasers and Cosmetic Surgery in Monterrey, Mexico.
He has participated as Investigator and/or scientific advisor to Roche, Lumenis, Alma Lasers,
Palomar, Solta Medical (Thermage/Relyant), Galderma, Humacyte, EndyMed, Syneron-Candela,
UltraShape, Zeltiq and Jeisys Medical. Member of more than 20 prestigious medical societies. Co-authored six scientific books on dermatology and cosmetic surgery in English, Portuguese and
Spanish; has presented by invitation over 180 conferences in international congresses and
meetings in America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
Dr. Leal has also served as Executive Secretary of the XVII Mexican Congress of Dermatology,
founder Secretary of the Mexican Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Chairman of the II International
Congress of Cosmetic Surgery; Member of the last 4 Board of Directors of the Society for
Dermatology of Nuevo Leon. Today Dr Leal is the President of the Dermatology College of Nuevo
