Biographie
Dr. Rocío Guerle holds a PhD in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Cosmetology and Dermopharmacy. She is currently R&D Director at Rofersam S.A., with 19 years of experience leading innovation in cosmetic science. Her research focuses on the development of chitosan-based membranes as an alternative to animal testing for cosmetic efficacy, in collaboration with Institut Químic de Sarrià (Universitat Ramon Llull, Barcelona). She has authored several scientific publications in internationally indexed journals and actively contributes to advancing sustainable and multifunctional approaches in hair and skin care. She also delivers scientific lectures to aesthetic and healthcare professionals to share the latest research findings in cosmetic science.
