Prof Xiaoxi LIN

Dr. Xiaoxi LIN is a professor of Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and vice-director of the Cosmetic Laser Center at Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, School of Medicine, Jiaotong University, which is one of the two leading Plastic Surgery Centers in China. He was a visiting doctor of Plastic Surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital, Boston Children Hospital and NYU Medical Center. Dr. Lin is one of the renown doctors in research and treatment of vascular anomalies and facial skin rejuvenation in China，serving as the chief of 24 scientific projects and the author of 133 scientific papers and 27 book chapters in his speciality. He once gave the invited or keynote speeches in the Annual meeting of Japanese, Scandinavian, American and Israel Society of Plastic Surgery and many international conferences. As the first contributors, Dr. Lin received several awards in China. He was awarded as the National Outstanding Scholar of New Centery, and 12 scientific awards, such as First prize of Scientific and Technological Advancement Award of Chinese Ministry of Education, Chinese medical science and technology prize, Shanghai Scientific and Technological Advancement Award (2004, 2007,2011). Dr. Lin is President elect of Shanghai Society of Aesthetic Medicine，and the peer reviewer of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He also served on the editorial boards of six major Chinese journal of Plastic Surgery or Surgery.
