Objectives: The facial aging involves not only the loss of volume, but also the ptosis of the fat compartments, leadind to the emergence of deep folds, and heterogenous depressions. This study aims to evaluate the drug injection of active principles at the subcutaneus tissue, in order to reduce volume at the jowl, nasolabial area, and submental area ( double chin ). Therefore we discuss the use of lipolytic and antioxidant substances to reduce facial fat in four patients.

Introduction: The Filllers for example, is one of the main therapeutic options to recuperate the facial volume, It is currently known that one of tho main causes of facial aging is the changes in the facial fat compartments.The drug injection with active principles is a minimally invasive techinique used in dermatology to distribute medications, vitamins,enxymes or other bioactive substances in the dermis or subcutaneous tissue in small amounts through multiple punctures, we associate lipolytic substances (caffeine and I-carnitine) with antioxidant,
draining and detoxifying substances

Materials / method: We have selected four female patients with fat puffiness in the
jowl, lateral to the nasolabial fold and submental ("double chin") areas to undergo a treatment with injection with active principles. The patients were aged between 45 and 60 years and were not undergoing any other dermatological treatment (whether topical, with injectables or technologies). The treatment protocol determined was to carry out four sessions of injections with active principles with an interval of
fifteen days between each one. Before the first session and fifteen days after the last one common digital photographs

Results: The active principles used in combination for the injection were
1-carnitine, caffeine, Chinese Marigold extract, Cynarascolymus ex-
tract (artichoke), pineapple sativus extract and Camellia sinensis ex-
tract (green tea). Such association of active products characterizes the
Toskani Slimming Cocktail®. In each session, we have applied 3 to 4
ml of the Toskani Slimming Cocktail0 solution to each patient, dis-
tributed in the areas of facial fat acumulation. All patients presented fat reducing with no complain, and no skin necrosis

Conclusion: The use of drug injections of active principles are a practical method with fast and promising results in the treatment area.

Introduction: Chemical peelings are one of the most ancient reported procedures to beautify the skin’s appearance. For approximately 3500 years a diversity of elements like fruits, milk, and acids have been applied in different ways and concentrations as a treatment for an assortment of dermatological problems like acne, hyperpigmentations, photo-aging; wrinkles, and scars.

Materials / method: The first chemical peels (classic peelings), like phenol, were effective but could be dangerous, were not recommended in higher Fitzpatricks' types, and the patients should comply with a meticulous downtime. However, peelings have evolved in the last 40 years (modern peelings), new molecules and ingredients complement the action; to be safer, easier to apply, with little or no down-time; hence it is a treatment option that most the patients could benefit from, regardless gender, age, or phototype, being an option to add as a combined therapy to any other aesthetic plan.

Results: In such a variety of acid agents in the market, from classic to modern era peelings, the distinction that the practitioner could realize between each one, with suggested use, cautions, and proper management of the acid molecule, will be guaranteed the expected results without minimal or none complications.

Conclusion: Despite new technologies with energy-based devices, chemical peels keep popular among patients; if the physician comprehends the chemistry of acid molecules, how they act on the skin, and their suggested uses, the practitioner will utilize them appropriately with excellent outcomes.
