Objectives: for effective thread lifitng, We must know which is the moving plane.
Based on the understanding of the moving plane, I would like to talk about how to fix the thread and pull the facial tissue effectively.

we named this new field of anatomy as a dynamic amatomy

Introduction: when we do the pinch, press or pull the facial soft tissue, the facial shape is changed. even when we sit and stand, the shape is totally different.
our face is lifted when we are lying down.This phenomenon can not be accurately explained by cadaver-based anatomical knowledge.

Materials / method: we used sonography, MRI, CT scan and explore the real time changes of the face as to facial movement.
and we do the pinch manipulation to know the inner change of facial soft tissue using cadaver and check the tissue changes
These results are implemented in 3D virtual reality environment.

Results: movable plane varies according to the facial area.
layer 4 innominate fascia layer is most movable plane at temple area where the most important for thread lifting.

Conclusion: A good understanding of the moving layer, the less moving layer, and strong facial ligament system will help to establish an effective theory and technique of thread lifting.
