I will discuss “Cosmeceuticals brightening an evening skin tones around the world in 2019 and beyond.” I plan on focusing on improving skin tone, texture and overall elasticity of the skin by discussing varied favorite cosmeceuticals and what they do to helpimprove the quality of the individual patient’s skin.

Introduction: I will review Sente Dermal Contour Pressed serum, TNS essential serum, Cysteamine, Sente illumine eye cream, Total defense and repair sunblock, Colorescience, HA5 and a few other products. I will be giving up to date clinical information on these products.

Results: I will also discuss the importance of us as the skin care leaders to sell products and guide our patients and the bottom line financially of how we can benefit from selling cosmeceuticals.

Conclusion: This is an over $20 billion a year industry and Sephora should not be at the forefront, doctors should be at the forefront.

Objectives: The objective of this talk is to discuss the use of growth factors and cell based peptides in the field of cosmetics.

Introduction: Since the Nobel Prize-winning discovery of nerve growth factor (NGF) and epidermal growth factor (EGF) in 1986, scientists and physicians alike have sought to understand and apply the physiological benefits of growth factors. In both healing and rejuvenation, tissue remodeling and systemic restoration, strides have been made in this regard. While the activity of growth factors and other elements of the cell secretome in response to acute wound damage are becoming increasingly well known, it remains a novelty to many that similar principles of restoration and remodeling repair can be employ

Materials / method: Products has been used on patients with different conditions and examined by trained professionals to determine efficacy. Pictures were taken before and after and patient self analysis been established based on questionnaires

Results: This study corroborates the idea that the topical application of growth factors and cytokines are beneficial in reducing the signs of skin aging of the face, including the area around the eyes. Moreover, growth factors have been shown to restore hair growth and slow down the progression of Androgenetic alopecia. Our study established the effectiveness of naturally occurring growth factors for anti-aging, skin rejuvenation, wound healing and for the first time in the treatment of hair loss.

Objectives: To showcase relevant and evidence based data on antioxidants for skin aging

Introduction: Healthy and beautiful skin features are one of the first aesthetic eye catchers. With the ongoing aging process, skin cells loose their aibility to counteract the influences of oxidation by free radicals. Clinically visible results are elastosis, formation of rhythids, pigmentation –to just mention some of the changes. Antioxidants are dedicated to helping to reduce such results to a certain extent.

Materials / method: The extrinsic and intrinsic aging process result in various changes of skins physiology and its appearance logically. Antioxidants are a heterogenic group of active compounds administered topically or orally to counteract such process by reducing the concentration of free radicals in skin and increasing its collagen production. They are typically indicated in aging and photo aging skin as well as in skin diseases such as non-melanoma skin cancer and psoriasis.
