Objectives: Understand the mechanism of action of each one of the PBSerum recombinant enzymes and their synergic effect when applied together along with HMWHA in cutaneous and subcutaneous tissues.

Introduction: The use of recombinant enzymes along with HMWHA in the treatment of diverse skin problems is generating an increasingly significant interest thanks to their differential advantages over other molecules. While HMWA has proven efficacy in the prevention and treatment of fibrosis, enzymes are very selective molecules that catalyze metabolic reactions, being specific for a substrate on which they act without damaging adjacent structures. This specificity reduces the possibility of having any complication or adverse effect and it is responsible for their high security and efficacy level.

Materials / method: - PBSerum recombinant enzymes (collagenase, lipase, lyase)
- High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid

Results: HMWHA decreases the rate of the fibrosis in affected tissues, playing a key role in its prevention and treatment.

Recombinant enzymes have proven efficacy in the treatment of diverse skin pathologies: fat accumulation, cellulite, flaccidity, scars, fibrosis… The clinical practice has revealed that they degrade specifically the substrates that mainly cause them (collagenase removes atrophic collagen fibers that lead to flaccidity and fibrosis, lipase degrades TG inside the adipocyte reducing fat accumulation and lyase acts in synergy with the other enzymes as a vehicle to help their expansion)

Conclusion: The combination of PBSerum recombinant enzymes with HMWHA have shown very favorable and encouraging results that may change the approach in the way certain skin pathologies have been treated so far.

Objectives: Highlight the importance of doing a right diagnose and choosing the appropriate application techniques when using recombinant enzymes and HMWHA to perform an integral remodeling of the face and neck.

Introduction: The use of recombinant enzymes along with HMWHA provides a 360º approach to the treatment of localized fat, flaccidity and aging signs in both face and neck with proven efficacy and minimal risk of adverse effects. They will degrade specific substrates in the skin and subcutaneous tissues, acting directly on the origin of problem. Due to this specificity, the election of a correct application technique is essential to obtaining the best results possible.

Materials / method: - PBSerum recombinant enzymes (collagenase, lipase, lyase)
- High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid
- Anesthetic cream & Simple lidocaine 2%
- Needles (30Gx1/2), Cannula- Gauzes, Antiseptic solution

Results: After the application of HMWHA along with collagenase, lipase and lyase with the appropriate technique in the face and neck we can observe a global remodeling of the skin’s collagen matrix, a reduction of the excess subcutaneous fat accumulations and an improvement on skin’s elasticity and texture. Both the diagnose and the application protocol performed in each particular case play a key role in the final results obtained.

Conclusion: The combination of PBSerum recombinant enzymes with HMWHA has proven efficacy in the reduction of localized fat, flaccidity and aging signs in both face and neck. With the correct diagnose and the election of the appropriate application techniques, this non-invasive and highly effective treatment will provide visible and long-lasting results in a wide range of cases.
