Integration of AI technology in my aesthetic practice in Taiwan

Objectives: I introduced a novel protocol based on an AI-assisted analytic system for facial expressions, Customized Precision Facial Assessment (CPFA), to evaluate and quantify the micro-expressions of aesthetic concern. With the help of other digital tools, physicians may be able to conduct static and dynamic assessments for the micro-expressions of the patients and perform quantitative measurements before and after the treatments. Our face is our identity, if we want people to remember you , you need to have your own identity.

Introduction: I will introduce my thoughts on the uses of Ai technology in everyday aesthetic practice.
First, a question. Do you know what your facial features or the facial features of your patients are really saying? I hope that my applications in emotional Ai systems with other digital tools can provide an answer to this question.

Materials / method: Customized Precison Facial Assessment, a Expression-based facial assement combined with other digital tools.
Three major parts. 1. Emotional expression 2.Facial contours assessment 3. Skin Quality

Results: Customized Precision Facial Assessment (CPFA), the novel protocol based on FaceReader, is the first aesthetic application of the well-established system in psychiatry. Through the detection of micro-expressions and its active action units of facial muscles, physicians are more likely to optimize the treatment with minimal intervention by precise localization of the foci of aesthetic concern. Integration of AI technology in my aesthetic practice, this what we do at CPFA to help preserve one’s personal identity. Don’t forget who we are.

Conclusion: So far, Artificial Intelligence has only been my consultant. It’s like a general going to war, he has some different military advisers. They give me many suggestions, but I only think of it as a second opinion.
Ai is a valuable tool to help one make the right decisions, but as a doctor, one should also base this on their own clinical experiences.

How does the combination of big data and AI in aesthetic medicine affect the clinician's treatment plan and outcome?

Objectives: The authors previously developed a filler training system based on VR and human faci model to train clinicians. In this system, the operator could check whether the filler needle touched blood vessels or nerves in real time.
in this time, advanced system analyzes the filler procedure of the operator, data can be analyzed simultaneously.
The clinician can demonstrate his or her usual filler procedure directly on the human face model so that he can data the procedure and get advice on what to look out for with the help of AI.

Introduction: As the filler injection procedure is performed blindly, it is almost impossible to identify the exact moment of vascular complication occurs. Clinicians are creating standards for safe procedures based on their knowledge of facial anatomy and filler rheology empirically.
If there is a system that can give the clinicians proper feedback on their actual filler procedure, it will be possible to learn the safe procedure and clinicians will be able to check whether they are safely performing the procedures.

Materials / method: we already developed VR based filler training system and checked the usability of it
we upgrade the system based on the comparison of trainee's data and expert's data.
new developed system can analyse the practitioner's procedure and check the safety of it. and presents a report evaluating the procedure with the support of AI.

Results: The practitioner can use the system to check the safety of his procedure through damage to vessels and nerves.
You will also receive a report of how well you followed the various principles for safe procedures.

Conclusion: The operator's experiences are the basis for big data. Artificial intelligence not only checks the operator's procedure, but can also recommend appropriate training videos or techniques.

Real time augmented reality and tele-robotic technology: performing a remote transcontinent aesthetic procedure

Objectives: Using Augmented Reality AR and trans-robotic technology can facilitate a tele-aesthetic procedure in the near future.

Introduction: The increase demand of patients seeking an aesthetic procedure by professional skilled medical personnel evolved markedly, however travelling a long distance usually carries more physical, financial burden and time consuming.
Robotics in medical field were hypothesized as far back as 1967, Currently, FDA approved the robotic da Vinci Surgical System.
Using the huge rapidly evolving Augmented Reality AR and trans-robotic technology can facilitate a tele-aesthetic procedure in the near future in aesthetic field.

Materials / method: Reviewing the articles published and describing the available technology in the field of augmented reality and tele-robotics can hypothesis a prospective vision and goals to be set in the aesthetic field in the near future.

Results: Results, advantages, disadvantages and prediction of AR and Tele-aesthetic Robotic technology will be displayed.

Conclusion: Combining digital AR and Tele-aesthetic Robotic technology may contribute in providing a remote high skilled medical service for patients seeking aesthetic procedure thousands of kilometers away, decreasing the physical, financial and time consuming burden which may be available in the near future.

Objectives: Typical problems for the industry is people don’t know what to do at the right time (and sometimes - the right age). Cosmetic procedures should be contextual - what is good for you when you are 20 is defiantly wrong for you when you are 60.

But what we can do with the AI tech and gamification we have is to develop and deploy a very specific customer path for every person, making cosmetic procedures, BUDs and relevant actions (TBD) - part of everybody’s life. I can show why and how we can make health&beauthy a wider market, sexy and desirable to every one, age and income-agnostic.

Introduction: life is roughly 80 years. Which is roughly 80x365 action plans. Till you are 14, it’s managed by your parents, past you are 60 - by your doctor. 14-60 - by you and your doctors. What we can build as industry - is a platform, where every cosmetic doctor can have access to it and provide services to those who are detected as target audience.

Materials / method: Biochemestry/Hormones balance management using a combination of AI, Lonvivo, nutrition management, remote medicine and DigitalDNA (data sets). it is essential for the medical community to learn what a digital DNA is, how complex it is, what are the true capabilities for different applications. What we can do on physical level. What we could do on disease management level. What we could do with psycho-related conditions and elderly care.

Results: Totally new industry of AI that manages human beauty/cosmetics demands during his/hers lifetime. From birth to death.
It's a new SaaS that can be piloted right now.

Conclusion: AI can be a threat. But at the same time - it can be the source of a new multi-billion euros market.
