Objectives: 1. Identify the role of Adipose Stem Cell-derived Exosomes in skin rejuvenation and hair revitalization
2. Formulate a clinical approach to achieving skin rejuvenation using ASC-exosomes
3. Find out possible combined treatment modalities for synergistic outcomes
Introduction: Exosomes have recently received much scientific attention since they can mediate cell-to-cell communication and regulate the properties of target cells. Adipose Stem Cell-derived Exosomes (ASC-exosomes) are at the forefront of a regenerative medicine breakthrough. Given these facts, it would be worthwhile to identify the clinical efficacy of ASC-exosomes in skin rejuvenation and hair revitalization.
Materials / method: The effects of ASC-exosomes were analyzed by evaluating patients’ feedbacks and before/after photos. The product used was CellExosome® from Prostemics which contains ASC-exosomes and additional plant derived exosomes. There are two different types of CellExosome®, the original version and highly enriched (HE) version. Each type has different SKUs, depending on the purpose of use, such as hair regrowth or skin rejuvenation. The clinical applications of CellExosome® were done in various ways including combined treatments with either laser devices, RF, or ultrasound devices.
Results: ASC-exosomes can help boost the natural healing properties of any regenerative treatment. This provides an exceptional aesthetic enhancement for sustained improvements to your skin's health and look. Also, they can improve hair regrowth by strengthening hair follicles.
Conclusion: ASC-exosomes can improve skin quality and hair regrowth by enhancing the epidermal and the dermal environment. ASC-Exosomes are not only a new solution for skin rejuvenation and hair regrowth, but also has a potential therapeutic agent for improving one’s health.
