Introduction: Compounding pharmacies typically support community pharmacies with drugs that are not available in licensed form. Often, these are approved by insurers and prescribers are limited to what is on the authorised list.

Materials / method: Private (self-paying) patients want something different that actually works. In the UK, clinics use compounded medication for acne, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, anti-ageing, dermatitis, alopecia, male and female pattern baldness, pain relief and vaginal atrophy. Ingredients such as tretinoin, glycolic acid, azelaic acid, hydrocortisone, hydroquinone, hyaluronic acid, caffeine, minoxidil, finasteride and lidocaine are frequently used either alone or in combination. Many other active ingredients, hormones, vitamins and cosmeceuticals can be offered as well.

Introduction: Title: Next Generation Exosome Regenerative Aesthetics for Vaginal Rejuvenation

Many women in the world need an innovation for vaginal rejuvenation. However, current technologies are limited in terms of efficacy and safety. Exosomes, nano-sized extracellular vesicles, are the most important mediators for intercellular communication. The triple functions of regeneration, rejuvenation, and anti-inflammation of exosomes have been well-known in a number of research. These days, exosomes are being developed as next-generation regenerative therapeutics and aesthetics to improve the quality of life.

Materials / method: 1. Exosomes derived from human adipose stem cells (ASCE) and rose stem cells (RSCE) are isolated to find that they are effective for vaginal rejuvenation from a few in vitro studies.
2. Vaginal keratinocytes (VK2) were treated with 2 types of exosomes.
3. An exosome-based specific formulation was clinically applied to treat hard-to-treat vaginal conditions like lichen sclerosus, itching, & atrophy.
4. For some clinical cases, RF microneedling was combined to create synergistic effects and to shorten significant downtime.

Results: 1. Exosomes are delivering important messages to vaginal keratinocytes, which produce more hyaluronic acids by up to 250%.
2. VK2 cells proliferated after the treatment of exosomes by up to 150%.
3. VK2 cells responded to express more aquaporin 3 (AQP3) by up to 20%.
4. Lichen sclerosus, vaginal atrophy, vagina dryness, & incontinence have been significantly improved after 1-5 sessions as monotherapy or combination with RF microneedling.

Conclusion: 1. This is the world’s first innovation based on exosome for vaginal rejuvenation and intimate care.
2. In vitro and clinical studies strongly proved the efficacy and safety of exosome-based technology for regenerative aesthetic vaginal rejuvenation.
3. Exosomes (ASCE and RSCE) are very effective to treat hard-to-treat vaginal conditions of aging, dryness, inflammation, & atrophy. Exosomes will be a paradigm shift in vaginal rejuvenation to help and improve the quality of life of all women in the world.

Objectives: In the realm of dermatology and cosmetic science, the pursuit of innovative and effective skin rejuvenation methods remains a top priority. BIODERMOGENESI - The latest researches of Biodermogenesi

Objectives: This study reviews the fields of application of Biodermogenesi therapy, from the initial treatment of scars and stretch marks, up to the most recent anti-aging treatments, and passing through the treatment of dyschromia disorders. The objective is to demonstrate how, in some cases, to obtain a good aesthetic effect it is necessary to regenerate the tissues and, vice versa, that some regeneration treatments, which can also include Biodermogenesi therapy, can induce important aesthetic effects.

Introduction: Biodermogenesi is a therapy created for the treatment of scars and stretch marks. It combines the simultaneous application of electromagnetic and vacuum fields, both variable based on the morphology of the skin and characteristics such as its temperature. In addition to aesthetic treatment to reduce the visual stigma of stretch marks, research has highlighted a complete regeneration of the underlying dermal and subcutaneous tissues, with, in particular, the restructuring of the extracellular matrix. For this reason, the therapy has been extended to other application areas.

Materials / method: A careful review of the literature was performed both on PubMEd and on preprint platforms, to identify all the studies in which Biodermogenesi therapy was applied, using both the term "Biodermogenesi" and the terms "V-EMF therapy" (abbreviation of electromagnetic field and vacuum), "electromagnetic field", and "vacuum", individually and/or combined. On the identified articles, the following were analysed: the type of patients, the problems treated, the effects of the treatments, the final clinical evaluations, and the level of patient satisfaction after the therapy.

Results: The bibliographic search allowed to identify 6 articles in which Biodermogenesi therapy was used: 3 on scars, 1 on stretch marks, 1 on aging, and 1 on dyschromia. In total, 324 subjects were treated: 46 with facial scars; 60 with stretch marks, 217 for face antiaging, and 1 for dyschromia problems. All treatments led to an improvement compared to the initial situation with a positive clinical evaluation by the doctors. All treated subjects were satisfied with the results obtained. In particular, subjects with scars, stretch marks and dyschromia reported an improvement in their quality of life.

Conclusion: Biodermogenesi therapy is particularly effective in all situations in which degeneration of the extracellular matrix is present, from alterations related to scars and stretch marks, to degeneration related to aging. The regenerative effect of this matrix allows the restitutio ad integrum of the tissues, whereby the therapy induces the reduction of the stigma of scars and stretch marks, and a general complete remodeling of the face. Biodermogenesi therapy appears to be a connecting therapy between the aesthetic and regenerative worlds.

Objectives: Polynucleotides allow an increase in hydration, reduction of Reactive Oxygen Species and stimulation of collagen; These qualities could improve not only fine wrinkles but also act at the level of flaccidity, pigmentation and improve vascular circles. It could also improve the region of the malar festoon

Introduction: The periocular region is one of the most sought-after areas, ranking as the third surgical treatment worldwide according to the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. This region is a challenge for aesthetic medicine, being treated with fillers, lasers, or peelings.
Treatment with fillers, lasers, or peels have a high risk due to the treatment area. The latest treatment that has been shown to be effective in the periocular region is polynucleotides.

Materials / method: 293 patients were treated with 3 sessions of 2ml/session of polynucleotides (7.5mg/ml), of which 68 patients were treated with botulin toxin also in upper part of face.
The total of 293 patients were compound by 271 women with age between 23-77 years old and 22 men with age between 23-59 years old
Photos were taken before and 45 days after the first treatment.

Results: No serious adverse effects were reported in all 293 patients. Only side effects derived from the infiltration method and the treated area such as eyelids were observed; the most common being erythema and hematoma.
Patients showed improvement in the sagging of the upper eyelid as well as in the pouch region. An improvement was observed in the pigmented periocular region, as well as in the vascular circles. The fine wrinkle of the lower eyelid improved as well.
Malar festoon improved with polynucleotide infiltration.

Conclusion: Treatment with polynucleotides is safe and effective for the improvement of sagging eyelids, fine wrinkles, and malar bags; decreasing the pigmentation of pigmented dark circles and improving vascular dark circles.
The combined treatment of polynucleotides and botulinum toxin has been shown to be an effective treatment to improve the periocular region.
