Objectives: This talk aims to explore the revitalization of the depressor anguli oris (DAO) muscle and the treatment of marionette lines through the use of toxin injections. The objectives of this presentation are to provide anatomical insights into the DAO muscle, demonstrate effective injection techniques, and present the outcomes of a clinical study. By understanding the underlying anatomy, refining injection techniques, and examining clinical results, practitioners can achieve successful outcomes in addressing DAO-related concerns and rejuvenating the marionette lines. Introduction: The depressor anguli oris muscle and marionette lines are common concerns in facial aesthetics, as they contribute to a tired and aged appearance. Toxin injections targeting the DAO muscle have shown promise in rejuvenating the lower face, providing a non-surgical solution to address marionette lines and oral commissure downturn.
