Цели: Demonstrate the importance of an accurate diagnosis in relation to the changes suffered by facial structures during the aging process and the different methods of adequately treating each individual, using isolated threads or in combination with other minimally invasive treatments. Assess the changes inherent to the aging process and recommend a sequence of treatments according to each patient's needs. Введение: The facial aging process is multifactorial, causing unique changes in each individual. In this way, an accurate diagnosis, a logical sequence and the choice of the best techniques for tissue repositioning with multidirectional threads of poly-l-lactic acid and polycaprolactone become mandatory. Материалы / методы: After treating approximately 120 patients over a period of 6 months with complaints related to cervicofacial aging and ages between 35 and 65 years, we were able to observe which techniques offer better results mainly in relation to balancing facial volume, offering correction of folds, sagging and restoring facial contour. Результаты: All patients treated with poly-lactic acid and polycaprolactone threads reported improvement in facial asymmetry, correction of folds, restoration of facial contour and improvement in skin quality when questioned 6 months after treatment. Заключение: After 11 years of experience treating patients' cervicofacial laxity in my private clinic using threads, I was able to observe natural results, maintained in the long term - 1 year and with satisfaction greater than 90%, proving the superiority of multidirectional poly-l-lactic acid and polycaprolactone threads in the restoration of facial contour due to their power of tissue repositioning and thanks to the fixation of their barbs in the subcutaneous plane.
