Доктор Henry Boon Bee FOONG

Dr. Henry Foong Boon Bee is one of Malaysia’s leading experts in Dermatology, and currently the Chairman of Dermatology Chapter and the Past President of Dermatological Society of Malaysia.  He is a board member of the NSR Dermatology Evaluation Subcommittee of the MMC. 
 
He graduated with an MBBS degree from the University of Malaya.  His internal medicine and dermatology training was received at the UHKL and at the Department of Dermatology, HKL. He also had further clinical training at St. Thomas Hospital, London and a short preceptorship training at Skincare Physicians of Chestnut Hill in Boston.  He is dual NSR certified in Dermatology and Internal Medicine. He is now consultant dermatologist at Foong Skin Specialist Clinic, Ipoh and a visiting consultant to Pantai Hospital Ipoh.
 
He has been the Scientific Chairman for annual meetings of the national dermatology society. He has also been a Board member of League of Asean Dermatological Societies and the Asian Academy of Dermatology and Venereology.  He was an editorial board member for the International Journal of Dermatology for several years and has been the Chief Editor for the Malaysian Journal of Dermatology.  Henry’s main interests are laser surgery, inflammatory skin diseases and medical education.
