Dr Otto Joseph PLACIK

Otto J Placik is in Private Practice in Chicago, Illinois with a Clinical Faculty Appointment as an Assistant Professor in Clinical Plastic Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed both general surgery and plastic surgery residency programs and underwent an Aesthetic Facial Surgery Fellowship in 1993 with Dr. Gary Burget in Chicago followed by a Microvascular Fellowship with Dr. Harry Buncke in San Francisco.  Dr. Placik is the author of several peer reviewed articles as well as book chapters in Cosmetic-Plastic Gynecology including Clitoral Hood Reduction and Hymenoplasty in Female Genital Surgery: Concepts, Classification, and Techniques (Thieme April 2017) and Surgical Risks and Untoward Outcomes and Mons Pubis Reduction in Female Genital Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, (Wiley-Blackwell April 2016) in which he was one of the Assistant Editors as well.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgeons.  He has performed thousands of breast enlargements in addition to body contouring and facial enhancement procedures but specializes in Female Genital Plastic Surgery.
