Доктор Prasetyadi MAWARDI

Prasetyadi Mawardi is an active staff and lecturer in Department of Dermatology and Venereology in Dr. Moewardi General Hospital and Medical Faculty of Sebelas Maret University, both in Surakarta, Indonesia. After finished his medical degree from Sebelas Maret university of Surakarta in 1989, he worked in primary care and hospital in Indramayu, West Java, Indonesia and had an appreciation from government in 1994 and 1995. He graduated as a Dermatovenereologist from Diponegoro University in Semarang, Indonesia in 2001. His major interests include cosmetic medic, cosmeceutical, skin tumor, skin surgery, acne, aging, laser and light modality and also dermato pathology. His Doctoral studies was achieved from Brawijaya University in Malang, Indonesia. His concern in skin cancer leads him to make this disease as a subject of his forthcoming doctorate degree. He not only often acts as a speaker and lecturer in national and international dermatology forum, but also actively publish his research and reviews in some international journal. He wrotes some books about basal cell carcinoma, entitle "Karsinoma Sel Basal", published by UNS Press in 2017.

He has an important role in Indonesian Society of Dermatology and Venereology. For more than 10 years he is actively participate as a chairman of Indonesian Society of Dermatology and Venereology in Surakarta region for 2 periods. Now he has a position as a chairman of Indonesian herpes study group.
