Dr Richard D GENTILE

Richard D Gentile, MD is a board certified Facial Plastic Surgeon practicing in Northern Ohio, USA. He is a graduate of the Ohio State University, The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and the Baylor College of Medicine (Houston Texas) Residency program. He has been in practice for 30 years. Dr Gentile has been an early adopter of energy based technology after beginning deep chemical peeling in 1990 after training with Zein Obagi, MD in Beverly Hills California. He was one of the first wave of skin resufacing advocates beginning in 1994. Dr. Gentile went on to advocate laser elevation of facial flaps with fiberlasers and was the first internationally to perform this type of facial surgery. He first reported this at IMCAS and ASLMS and AAFPRS meetings in 2008. He termed this surgery SmartLifting. Dr Gentile is a key opinion leader and conducts research and serves as a consultant for multiple technology companies internationally. His textbook "Neck Rejuvenation" was published in 2011 by Thieme publishers and contains technology related chapters as well as conventional surgery. He publishes regularly and speaks on new developments internationally on a regular basis.
