Novel treatment to inflammatory pathologies with a vascular component: my experience
Objectives: Show a novel IPL treatment in the Dye vascular form (500-600nm) in movement, which delivers a soft and superficial energy in highly inflamed erythematous pathologies, such as acne and scars, stretch marks and rosacea, improving erythema, and the quality of the skin.
Introduction: Acne, scars and pathologies that cause burning, pain and flushing cause a great physical and psychological impact. We can treat them by combining them with medical therapy, whether antibiotics, vitamin A derivatives and topical treatments to which we carry out early treatments to reduce inflammation, erythema and improve skin quality with a pulsed light technology that manages to deliver the Energy more slowly and more superficially avoiding and treating inflammation.
Materials / method: Clinical cases are shown before and after of patients with active acne, scars, recent stretch marks and rosacea, among others, only with this therapy with very good results.
In many cases, subsequent treatments such as ablative lasers are not required.
Results: The results with the treatment with Dye (500-600nm) in motion, in the form of motion, is highly effective and safe, improving inflammation, erythema and skin quality.
Also with great patient satisfaction, improving patient symptoms such as burning, pain and flushing.
Conclusion: There are many treatments to improve the vascular component of different pathologies, being the Gold Standard pulsed bleaching laser, and pulsed light in its classic form.
When telangiectasias do not predominate and there is inflammation, intense erythema and burning, better results are achieved with this soft and superficial technique that delivers less energy and takes longer.
