Objectives: Influencers and celebrities play a vital role in shaping the audiences’ opinions because they are seen as trusted sources sharing their experience on spot although the lack the appropriate medical background to have a proper judgment on the safety and efficacy of the medical procedures they present. On the other hand, most of the physicians are not trained on using the social media in the most attractive ways to audiences. Breaching this gap is a must and we have to play a role in educating the communities we work in in an attractive and simple way. Introduction: Social media has become an essential part of our lives, as it is a powerful marketing tool that strongly depends on word of mouth and opinions. Moreover, it shapes the way we communicate and exchange information. In this presentation I will be discussing effect of social media on the cosmetology and hair practice and the trends that emerge with it. Materials / method: 1.Social media data: Collect a sample of social media posts, comments, and discussions related to cosmetology and hair practices in Kuwait. You could use social media APIs or web scraping tools to gather this data. 2.Case studies: Analyze specific cases of how social media has influenced cosmetology and hair trends in Kuwait. 3.Statistical analysis: Analyze survey data to identify statistically significant relationships between variables related to social media use and attitudes towards cosmetology and hair practices. Results: 1.Impact on consumer behavior 2.Trends in cosmetology and hair practices 3.Role of professionals 4.Regional considerations Conclusion: From receiving reactions on techniques and procedures and how it affects the popularity of various procedures, handling complications and compliance on social media platforms and the responsibility we acquire as professionals to provide the patients with the latest technologies and therapies and educate them furthermore in the gulf region and specifically in Kuwait will be the focus of my oral presentation
