Subtle eyebrow lift using absorbable threads of PLLA and caprolactone with HA
Objectives: Patients often seek an eyebrow lift to achieve a refreshed and youthful appearance.
By raising and reshaping the eyebrows, this procedure can effectively:
-Open-up the eyes.
-Reduce the appearance of drooping or sagging.
-Create a more alert and rejuvenated look.
-Correct asymmetry.
-Enhance harmony in the face.
Introduction: The eyebrow form holds a remarkable significance in enhancing the beauty of the face. These delicate arches serve as an artistic frame, harmonizing facial features and accentuating the eyes. With their ability to convey emotions and create symmetry, well-groomed eyebrows have the power to transform a face, adding depth, character, and allure. Whether subtly defined or boldly shaped, the eyebrow form plays a vital role in the overall aesthetics, making it a key aspect of facial beauty.
Materials / method: 5 patients were chosen ages between 35-45 with ptosis grade 1-2 of the eye brows.
Five threads in total are inserted in each side.
These threads are 7 cm long with bidirectional barbs in them.
Their composition is PLLA and Caprolactone with Hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid contributes with the collagen stimulation and minimizes the downtime healing process.
Three threads are inserted from the entry point coming from the superior temporal septa and two from the eyebrow (from the middle towards the tail).
The last two threads are inserted from the eyebrow upwards and pulled slightly before cut.
Results: All five patients resulted in a satisfied eyebrow lift. Subtle and natural looking without any complications.
Achieving a rejuvenated look.
Conclusion: This is a method very easy to control, giving very nice and long-lasting results and very low risk for complications.
I am certain that this method can be appealing, especially for our less experienced colleagues and patients seeking a long-lasting lift with minimal downtime, reduced risk of complications, and potentially more cost-effective options.
