"Fox Eyes" with threads
Objectives: The aim of this study was to assess the overall safety and efficacy of browlift combined with non surgical canthopexy with suspension thread lifting. The author also aimed to demonstrate patients' satisfaction after treatment.
Introduction: Reshape of the eyes without surgical canthopexy is almost impossible due to the presence of canthal tendon and periorbital retaining ligaments.
this technique enables us to reshape the eyes to fox shape with a pair of double needle threads.
Materials / method: The study involved 10 patients undergoing browlift combined with non surgical canthopexy with suspension thread lifting to reshape the eyes to FOX
Patient's satisfaction was valuated with global esthetic improvement score, visual analog scale score, before and after treatment clinical images.
Results: All patients showed optimized lateral brow elevation and lateral canthus reposition with high satisfaction. Patients experienced an immediate eye reshape in addition to the eyebrow lift. this minimal invasive technique did not cause adverse events to the patients and they would recommend it.
Conclusion: Interest in thread lifting is currently high, and this study highlights the excellent outcome and the visible results of non surgical canthopexy abd browlift with double needle threads.
