Improving skin quality for a youthful appearance - Whats new in our hands?
Objectives: Objective: To be able to establish which available treatments are effective for skin rejuvenation that can address overall skin quality.
Introduction: Facial aging is a complex process that involves genetic, biological, and environmental factors.Human skin undergoes chronological aging like other organs.Skin ageing alters both structure and mechanical properties of the skin.As we age, we can observe a significant and gradual loss of facial volume due to bone and fat resorption.The loss of collagen leads changes in skin as texture, tone, and quality. Epidermis gets thinner and more fragile, decreasing hydration, elasticity and radiance complexion.To keep a better skin quality is needed a protocol adaptable to different degrees of skin ageing
Materials / method: Identifying patient’s needs, assessing and design a treatment plan are,
important steps to improve skin quality. Combinations of minimally invasive procedures are often used in aesthetic treatments and are increasingly considered as the new standard of care. Collagen stimulator, skin boosters cocktails, enzymatic rejuvenation, hybrid fillers, autologous bio stimulation ,non-cross -linked HA ,PDO threads, exosomes.
Results: Treatments with either dermal filler, bio-revitalization solutions or other treatments alone are not enough to bring a global facial aging approach.
Conclusion: To improve skin quality, multiple modalities that complement each other to address different skin layers is needed to achieving better results for a youthful skin.
