Objectives: Abstract IMCAS Paris 2024 CYSTEAMINE PHARMACOLOGICAL AND CLINICAL EVALUATION ON MELASMA UPDATEE (CYS) is derived from coenzyme A degradation in mammalian cells, its presents strong anti-pigmentation application potential. The role of CYS has been intensively studied in literature. But CYS suffers stability problems for its use in skin and dermatological applications due to its poor stability and its very bad odor. This is the reason why this molecule is not yet extensively commercialized nowadays. CYS is inactivated by oxidation in a way like glutathione by forming disulfur bonds. CYS is a Introduction: Melasma is always very difficult to treat and require safe and effective treatment. Materials / method: The material is a new formulation of cysteamine in a specific vector system. The clinical studies were done versus HQ as control and as reference. Results: We got very good results with our any side effects. Conclusion: For this indication of melasma we got no patient drop out in the studies and an excellent tolerance.
