Understanding the complex tear trough
Objectives: 1) Understand the anatomy of the tear trough
2) See certain contributing factors that create unpredictable outcomes with dermal fillers to the tear trough.
Introduction: The Tear trough has some important anatomical considerations when performing dermal filler injections. It can be one of the more unpredictable locations on the face to perform injections. This presentation attempts to explain what can contribute to some common concerns patients have after having filler.
