Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate and discuss the complications and side effects of microneedling Introduction: MN brings significant positive changes, although this method also has side effects. The side effects and complications are multifactorial, and the author based on her experience categorized them into six fields. Materials / method: In this paper microneedling side effects and complications are discussed in A. Procedures and materials used; operator; D. Sterile device and skin; Standard Device; neglected aftercare and patient factor. Results: Procedures and materials used; operator; D. Sterile device and skin; Standard Device; neglected aftercare and patient factor leads to different complications and side effects Conclusion: MN adverse events, though uncommon, are significant as they may leave patients seeking treatment for cosmetic reasons with disfiguring results. There is a need to inform these classified complications so that doctors who work in this field can learn about the methods of prevention and management of these complications.
