Objectives: Starting from a proper assessment of the lower face and following the anatomic knowledge and latest findings, I apply a vertical superficial technique that can be adapted to every patient with a customized approach. A single or double layer of multidirectional injections of hyaluronic acid in the submucosa allows me to obtain natural and harmonic results. Introduction: Lips have always been a special “communication tool” in woman’s world, with them it is possible to show feelings, attitudes, desires and ideas. Throughout the years the way they are expressly shown as part of the feminine beauty has changed. Since lip filler has been established as one of the most required aesthetic medicine treatment, we have to consider that we are dealing with the focus of beauty and attractiveness of the face, though, as doctors, we have to be prepared to listen to patients’ desires and make them understand their real needs.
