Gynecomastia grade 3 and 4: to stage or not to stage the operation?
Objectives: Dealing with Gynecomastia with skin excess could be done in one occasion but the end result will be long and conspicuous scars.
Staging the treatment to 2 surgeries, one year apart, is a better optiton.
It will allow for skin contraction and removal of any remaining skin excess through a peri-areolar scar only, leaving almost no stigmata on the chest skin.
