Objectives: review the role of surgical mesh for aesthetic and reconstruction breast revisions
Introduction: Mesh products can serve a significant role in the setting of breast implant surgery
Materials / method: To renew the authors experience with biological and synthetic mesh for complex revisions following breast reconstruction and breast augmentation.
Results: Mesh use has demonstrated success in the setting of capsular contracture and implant malposition.
Conclusion: Successful use of synthetic or biological mesh required careful patient selection and strict attention to technical details.
