Objectives: Show the results and parameters used in the elimination of gluteal siderosis through the use of Q-switched nanosecond and picosecond lasers. Introduction: Gluteal siderosis consists of a grayish-brownish pigmentation in the buttocks caused by the pigment from the iron present in intramuscular iron injections in cases of anemia and accidental or surgical trauma. Materials / method: From 2015 to date, 22 female patients with this diagnosis have been treated using a nanosecond Q-switched laser and a picosecond Q-switched laser. Results: Of these 22 patients, 16 responded to a satisfaction survey. Of these 16, 12 considered the pigmentation significantly or entirely erased. 1 consider that little was erased. 3 that could not be deleted. Conclusion: The only successful treatment to completely or partially erase gluteal siderosis is the use of a Q-switched laser.
