Beyond hair transplant, non-invasive follicular auto stem cell implantation: The future is here!
Objectives: The objective of this study is to introduce a new cutting edge, non-surgical and non-invasive solution which provides a quick recovery for patients of various types of hair losses except infective scalp diseases. To eliminate the dependency on donor hair by reactivating the patient’s own dormant follicles, thereby enabling the potential for unlimited natural hair regrowth.
Introduction: Follicular Stem Cell Implantation (FSCI) is a revolutionary, non-surgical solution to hair loss that leverages the body’s natural regenerative capabilities. In contrast to conventional hair loss therapies or hair transplants. This personalized approach stimulates dormant follicles, promotes natural hair growth, and addresses issues like thinning and premature greying without the need for daily medication or donor hair.
Materials / method: The study was conducted in Dr. Monisha Kapoor aesthetics. It is an observational study done for a period of 10 months. This technique isolates and multiplies follicular stem cells in a certified laboratory for a month using a scalp biopsy and about 25 hair strands. These cells are then injected into the scalp after one month over three sessions a month apart. 15 patients have completed 3 sessions of the follicular stem cell implantation therapy and 5 patients that are undergoing the procedure currently.
Results: The patients showed a marked reduction in hair shedding, increased density, increased shaft thickness and overall satisfactory results. Built on years of scientific research, FSCI offers a permanent, minimally invasive alternative for restoring healthy, thick hair across all stages and various types of hair loss in all the genders.
Conclusion: This study highlights the effectiveness of Follicular Stem Cell Implantation (FSCI) as a ground-breaking, non-surgical solution for hair loss. The observed results demonstrate significant improvements in hair density, reduction in shedding, and high patient satisfaction, supporting FSCI as a safe, regenerative alternative to traditional treatments
