Introduction: Thread lifting strategies utilising both absorbable and non-absorbable thread materials and techniques have often proved to be associated with non-durable outcomes. The quest for a pleasing and durable non-invasive thread lifting outcome has been an elusive objective that can now be addressed by utilising supporting scaffolds.
Materials / method: The development of a scaffold associated thread lift is explored in this presentation.
Results: Scaffold supported thread lifting shows great promise in enhancing the probability of more durable aesthetic outcomes.
Conclusion: The concept of biologically tissue-compatible supporting scaffolds has gained great popularity in aesthetic procedures including thread lifting.
