Objectives: Proof‑of‑concept: based on clinical observation that thin AKs improved or disappeared during rejuvenation treatments, we explored whether a device designed for anti‑aging (nitrogen plasma) could also contribute to control of dyskeratotic / actinic fields.
Introduction: Plasma can be used for cosmetic purposes, but it can also be used for dermatological purposes, particularly in the treatment of actinic keratosis.
Materials / method: Prospective observational approach (non‑comparative). Suspicious or thick AK lesions were triaged or treated first. Study lesions were monitored with **dermoscopy + LC‑OCT** at baseline or / and follow‑up to objectify changes when histology was not ethically justified.
Results: Plasma : Field‑oriented regenerative modality; simple, reproducible, operator‑controlled; rapid procedures and good acceptance in settings where adherence to topical therapies is limited; cost‑efficient alternative between cryotherapy and laser platforms (ablative or non‑ablative modes).
Conclusion: Early observational signal rather than definitive proof. Supports the hypothesis that nitrogen plasma may provide **dual benefit** (rejuvenation + contribution to field control). Must remain **complementary** to validated AK therapies; further controlled studies are warranted.
