HA coated Threads Biostimulation benefits: Elasticity, Hydration, and Clinical Improvement in Skin Laxity
Objectives: To assess the biostimulatory effects of HA-coated PLLA/PCL threads on skin laxity. Participants will learn how this technology improves skin hydration and elasticity, and how to objectively evaluate outcomes using cutometry and clinical scoring, integrating these threads into rejuvenation protocols.
Introduction: Skin laxity reflects collagen loss and dehydration. Traditional threads lift but rarely enhance skin quality. HA-coated PLLA/PCL threads unite mechanical lift with hydration potential. Evaluating their impact can expand the scope of thread-based rejuvenation.
Materials / method: Over 40 patients with facial skin laxity received HA-coated PLLA/PCL threads. Assessments were done at baseline, 1, 3, and 6 months via cutometry (elasticity), corneometry (hydration), and standardized clinical scoring, without disclosing any brand.
Results: Elasticity rose up to 35% and hydration 28% at 3 months, remaining stable at 6 months. Clinical scoring showed clear laxity reduction and firmer skin. No serious adverse events occurred, supporting safety and efficacy.
Conclusion: HA-coated threads offer more than lift: they restore skin quality through hydration and elasticity gains. This dual action makes them a valuable tool for comprehensive rejuvenation in aesthetic practice.
