Innovative approaches to reversing skin aging: PDK1 inhibition and RE.D flavonoid
Objectives: PDK1 inhibition reverses cellular senescence and enhances skin regeneration by suppressing NF-κB and mTOR pathways. RE.D Flavonoid (Kaempferol tetrasaccharides) from Camellia japonica seeds inhibit PDK1, reducing senescence and increasing collagen production. Clinically, these approaches increased skin hydration and effectively reduced pores, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation. These findings suggest that PDK1 inhibition can effectively reverse skin aging.
