Three-Step Intradermal Nose Injection: Precision, Safety and Long-Term Outcomes
Objectives: This lecture introduces a novel three-step intradermal nose injection technique, designed to simplify non-surgical rhinoplasty into clear and reproducible steps. Attendees will learn the anatomical rationale, structured three-step approach, and safety principles, supported by one-year outcomes. The goal is to make nasal refinement both accessible and precise for daily practice.
Introduction: Nasal contouring with fillers is often considered complex due to anatomical challenges and safety concerns. This study presents a novel intradermal nose injection method that reduces the procedure to three structured steps. By simplifying the approach while maintaining precision and safety, the technique aims to make non-surgical nasal enhancement more reproducible and accessible in clinical practice.
Materials / method: A total of 74 patients seeking non-surgical nasal refinement were treated with a medium-viscosity hyaluronic acid filler using a novel three-step intradermal protocol. Injections were performed with 30G, 13 mm needles under aseptic conditions at three defined points: columella, supratip, and radix. This structured sequence was designed to simplify the procedure, enhance precision, and improve reproducibility. Patients were followed for 12 months to assess outcomes and safety.
Results: A total of 74 patients underwent the three-step intradermal nose injection protocol. All achieved improved nasal definition and contour with high satisfaction rates. No major vascular or ischemic complications were observed. Minor edema and bruising resolved within days. Three patients experienced prolonged erythema lasting up to one month. Clinical outcomes remained stable throughout the 12-month follow-up, confirming both safety and durability.
Conclusion: The three-step intradermal nose injection technique proved to be a safe, precise, and reproducible method for non-surgical nasal refinement. By structuring the procedure into columella, supratip, and radix injections, the approach simplifies practice while ensuring natural results. One-year follow-up in 74 patients demonstrated stable outcomes and minimal complications, supporting its value as a reliable alternative in aesthetic dermatology.
