Objectives: 1- Identifying the role of Microbiome in Skin health 2- how to maintain it 3- how to use it for patients 4- what is available in the market 5- what happens when we lose it Introduction: The skin is colonized by a diverse microbiota. Most of them are harmless but can contribute to the well-ness of the skin and organism. Here we examine their roles and how having a health microbiome eco-system can benefit the skin and the body in total. Materials / method: I examined multiple publication and studies on the role and diversity of the microbiome on the human skin. A detailed analysis on the latest publications to unveil the mystery of this eco system and their role on our health. Results: molecular analysis of the skin microbiome revealed a dominant bacterials presence but also a spectrum of fungai, viruses and other organism. Conclusion: The skin microbiome is an essential part of the skin and contribute to numerous benefits. The are diverse per individuals based on the environments and personal habits. Ethnicity and other cultural factors can play an important part of the microbiome that can contribute to the health of the individual.
