We can use a 45cm barb thread,thread can be placed with double plane continuous multiple Z shaped

Introduction: Management of facial rejuvenation has evolved over past decades. Facelift with barbed suture is a minimally invasive surgical technique for facial rejuvenation. This study examined the efficacy and associated complications of a new thread-looping procedure called minimal access multiple plane suspension (MAMPS).

Materials / method: A total of 103 thread lifts were performed between 2014 to 2017. Patient satisfaction and adverse effects were evaluated.

Results: In the majority of patients (88/103, 85.4%), the results obtained were considered satisfactory 3 months after the procedure. The incidence of complications was low. Only 5.8 % of the patients had slight post-operation asymmetry that was easily corrected. Minor complications experienced by patients included palpable suture knots (12.6%), persistent facial swelling (7.88%), and facial dimpling (2.9%). The cause of procedure-related complications were reviewed and discussed.

Conclusion: Reinforced by select anchoring points, “MAMPS” suspends ptotic anatomic tissues, serving as an effective facial rejuvenation procedure with minimal downtime and satisfactory cosmetic results.

Objectives: Lower face shape and contour is very important for facial shape and younger and beautiful looking. Square lower face is very common in Asian. Sagging is an ageing sign make the lower face look rectangular. Minimal invasive way in combination of filler and toxin could have synergistic effect in reshaping the lower face in Asian.

Introduction: Aging signs on the lower face include the loss of the V-shaped lower face contour, the loss of a well-defined jawline, the formation of nasolabial folds and marionette lines, increased sagging, and jowl formation.

Materials / method: The application of botulinum toxin to the lower face can reduce the activity of facial depressor muscles, and reshape the lower face through the induction of masseter and parotid gland atrophy.

Results: The application of fillers into the lower face can reverse many aging signs and achieve a “lifting” effect. This is done through reshaping the chin, revolumzation over sunken areas, and improvement of overall facial contour.

Conclusion: In this session, I will present a combination treatment using both fillers and toxins in the lower face to maximize synergistic reshaping and recontouring effects.

Objectives: To look into what kind of non-invasive body contouring devices that works in our Asian population.

Introduction: There are many new devices in the market targeting subcutaneous fat and has been FDA cleared. However, as Asian has slightly different distribution of fat and different in terms of reaction to temperature changes, we explore what really works for Asian and things to be taken into account when we explore non-invasive fat reduction treatments.

Materials / method: We did treatments on asian population and study the outcome.

Results: We look into the success rate of each treatment.

Conclusion: The treatments have slightly different outcome when it is done with different modalities.
